This presentation includes some ideas of botanical illustration techniques and approaches that could be used in middle school and high school science classes to enhance skills in your students. It also touches on subjects the botanical illustration approach can be used to teach.

The above presentation is still a work in progress but is nevertheless freely available for you to use as you wish. It has so far been presented to Science Teachers in Oregon including those at the Oregon Science Teachers Association (OSTA Conference, October 2009) and High School and Middle School teachers in Sisters, Central Oregon, as well as to the Planting Science Summer Institute at Texas A & M (June 2010).
