DESCRIPTION:Saturday, October 10 thru Monday, October 12, 10 am – 3 pm\nCENTRAL OREGON Community College, Bend, OR\n\n\nLearn the fundamentals of botanical illustration. No experience is required.\n \nDo you admire the beauty of flowers and plants in botanical art and in nature? In this engaging, welcoming and hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to capture the delicate shapes, details and colors of flowers and other botanical subjects on paper in a series of simple steps! Taught by Jeanne Debons, local artist and member of the American Society of Botanical Artists (ASBA), this course includes an introduction to supplies, botanical drawing and watercolor painting techniques, and you will have plenty of time to try out the techniques in class. All materials provided by instructor. No experience necessary, all skill levels welcome!\nThe course is held at the instructor’s studio located approximately 30 minutes east of the COCC Bend campus. The address will be sent to you via email a couple days prior to the course. There will be a 30 minute lunch break.
